Richard Martin Hart, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away peacefully at his home in DeLand, FL, on March 17, 2024. He was born on October 20, 1957, in Cleveland, OH, to Richard and Carol Hart.
Richard's life was marked by cherished moments with his family, adventures at beaches and during travel, and his passion for Fantasy Baseball, where he proudly held the title of five-time champion. He was a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians, finding joy in their victories and unwavering in his support through every season. Richard also enjoyed Jeep camps and found camaraderie and support through his involvement with the ACM Group.
Richard's academic journey led him to Kent State University from 1976 to 1977, and later, he graduated Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in arts from Capital University in 2007.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ada Hart, mother, Carol Hart (Richard) his child Seneca; his grandchildren, Anisia, Ama, and Richard; his brother, Randy. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hart and daughter, Tifany
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on March 31, 2024, from 4-7 PM at 143 Oakleaf Cir., DeLand, FL 32724. Richard will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
