Robert "Danny" Kirk, beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on Saturday, February 10th, at Advent Health DeLand. He was born on September 22, 1940, in Berwind, West Virginia, to the late Paul and Margaret Kirk.
Danny's life was marked by profound love and dedication to his family. He met his cherished wife, Carol, while stationed at Chicksands Air Force Base in Shefford, England, and they shared 64 years of unwavering companionship and love. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with joy, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
In addition to his devotion to his family, Danny was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He found solace and fulfillment in nature, often spending peaceful days pursuing his favorite pastimes. Yet, above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones, creating lasting bonds and treasured moments that will be forever cherished.
Danny leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be carried on by his devoted family. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his son, Andrew "Andy"; his daughter, Tracy; his brother, Paul, of Charlotte, Michigan; four grandsons, and two great-grandchildren. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In honoring Danny's memory, let us celebrate the extraordinary life of a man who touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy of love and laughter will endure for generations to come.
