Ron was my speech professor in 1975. It is not hyperbole when I say he changed my life. He introduced me to competitive public speaking and I traveled with Stetson's forensics team in 1975 and '76, and eventually became a speech teacher and coach myself. He also offered me guidance and friendship in the years after college. I cannot imagine what my life would have been like had he not cared about my future. And I know I am only one of many he mentored, befriended, and supported. Rest in peace, Ron Baugh. May flights of angels sing thee to they rest.
