Walter Noah Argenbright, Jr., 86, DeLand, FL, passed to a better life on July 20, 2021. He was born December 28. 1934, in

Washington, D.C., to Walter Noah, Sr., and Helen Argenbright. At age 4, with his family, he moved to Olney, MD. He was a graduate of Sherwood High School, Sandy Spring, MD, and Capitol Radio Engineering Institute, Washington, D.C. He moved to Florida in 1975 to join the family heating and air conditioning business in Orange City from which he retired as owner/operator in 1992. He was a member of Lake Helen United Methodist Church. Walter enjoyed many interests including music, photography, gardening, aviation, electronics, and mechanics.


In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Dorla Barley and Carol Royalty. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet, a sister Katherine Lewis, Frederick, MD, brother-in-law Walter T. Bryan, Jr., Linden, VA, 2 nieces, and 5 nephews.


A graveside service will be held at Deltona Memorial Gardens on Tuesday July 27, 2021, at 3:00 p.m.


In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Walter’s memory to Mayo Clinic, Development Dept., 200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905, designated for Lewy Body Disease research, or Lake Helen United Methodist Church, 121 West Delaware, Lake Helen, FL 32744, designated for the Building Fund.
