Arthur H. StolbaFuneral service for Arthur H. Stolba, 82, of S. Spring Garden Avenue, DeLand, who died Monday, November 14, 2005, will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 18, at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 E. New York Ave., DeLand. Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, November 17.

Mr. Stolba was born in Queens, NY and moved here in 1960 from Sanford. He was retired as a chief petty officer, serving in World War II. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, VFW, Eagles and the AMVETS, all of DeLand. He was also a member of the Fleet Reserve, Sanford.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, and a grandson, George Shelton, Jr. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jack Hood, DeLand; three granddaughters, Patricia Gill of Fairbanks, Alaska, Charlotte Horton of Augusta, GA and April Strunks of Piqua, Ohio and four great-grandchildren.
