Gusty H. Gariepy, Jr.

Funeral service for Gusty H. Gariepy Jr., 74, 17th Street, Orange City, who died Friday, December 2, 2005, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, at Lankford Funeral Homes & Crematory Chapel. Calling hours are Monday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Lankford Funeral Homes & Crematory, 220 E. New York Ave. Further services and burial will be in Beaver Pond, PA.

Mr. Gariepy was born in Centerville PA and moved to this area in 1979 from Lake City, Pa. He wanted to be the best father. He was a retired ice cream man. He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Stahlman; brothers, Frank, Donald and Tommy Gariepy, sisters, Virginia Waid and Marjorie Lingo; and three grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Velma J. Gariepy, Orange City; five sons, Gary L. Gariepy of Eustis, Roy Gariepy of DeLand, Russell Stahlman of Osteen, Edward Stahlman of Crescent City and Dale Stahlman of Meadville, PA; two daughters, Jane Davis and Karen Okey, both of Dahlonega, GA; two sisters, Shirley Laird of Connesville, PA and Margaret Sterling of Tryonville, PA; three brothers, Kenneth Gariepy and Russell Gariepy, both of Lake City, PA and Robert Gariepy, Pennsylvania; 32 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
